Parent Communication, COVID-19, March 16
Mon, Mar 16, 10:32 AM

Dear TFS Community,

As you have no doubt seen in the news, both the CDC and local leaders have recommended that all gatherings greater than 50 people, including schools, cancel for the next eight weeks. Local schools have made the immediate decision to close indefinitely with leaders reevaluating their recommendation on Friday, April 3.

The Fulton School will comply with this recommendation.  We will continue with our spring break and send specific information about our Online Learning Plan next week, aiming to be ready to go online Monday, March 30. The talent show on Friday, April 3 is cancelled, but we will keep later events on the calendar until we receive more information on or before April 3.

After spring break, we plan to have the building open during school hours, with most faculty/staff working on campus; however we will ask anyone in the building to remain six feet from others and make their business brief. If you need to stop by, please call beforehand to ensure we have not stepped out temporarily.

This will be complicated for all of us in varying ways.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help as your family figures out what your lives are going to look like on March 30 and beyond.

Sincerely,

Kara Douglass
Head of School
