COVID: Symptoms and What to Do

Does your student have 1 low-risk symptom?
Low-risk symptoms are runny nose, congestion, fever, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, headache, or muscle aches. S/he is allowed to come back to school 24 hours after the symptom resolves. If a symptom develops at school, the student will need to go home.

Does your student have 2 low-risk symptoms or 1 high-risk symptom?
High-risk symptoms are cough, difficulty breathing, and loss of taste/smell. If any of these symptoms arise, s/he must be seen by a healthcare provider or get a negative COVID test to return to school.

If you have a COVID-related event/absence/question with your student or in your family, please contact the office immediately to speak with Diane Loyd. Call (636)458-6688 or email dloyd@tfssa.org
