We are grateful for our partnership with you as we work to keep our community healthy.
TFS@Home was great, but TFS@TFS is much better. We will be in the building for the fall semester and have released our 2020 Re-Opening Plan.
The safety of our students, their families, and our faculty/staff at The Fulton School is our top priority. We also strongly believe that our students need to be on campus doing their work – the work of learning and growing up. And we believe we are in a unique position to offer both.
In the current climate, being small is a huge advantage. Because we are small, we are able to anticipate following safety guidelines on campus this fall without disrupting the fantastic experience that our students have always had at TFS.
We continue to actively consult with national experts in pediatric epidemiology; in school law and liability; in architecture, infrastructure and ventilation; and in anxiety and depression in students due to isolation or increased online activity. The association memberships we have -- Independent School of St. Louis (ISSL), Independent School Association of the Central States (ISACS), and National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) -- have all been invaluable for training and collaboration on the topic of school re-opening.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with your questions or concerns.
Part of our vision at TFS has always been to be an extension of your home. Now we have the opportunity to make your home an extension of The Fulton School! Our mission remains the same: to challenge and support your children academically and personally as they find their place in the world, with particular focus on loving life and learning. For the sake of communication, transparency, and clarity, we have created this handbook to guide us all as we continue on this adventure.
May 21, 2020 -- Our "2020-The Season of Adversity" video was created at the end of our spring semester, after the completion of our TFS@Home program.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Building and Campus
Currently our school building is open and staffed by the administration, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm.
As a courtesy, please call 636-458-6688 or email if you need to access the building.
Our campus is open for those seeking outdoor activity in compliance with social distancing guidelines. Please avoid the playgrounds as they will not be cleaned/disinfected, but you are welcome to walk the creek, play basketball on the parking lot, or just park and wander.
*Note: Please do not use the soccer field; our facilities manager is currently treating the grass in anticipation of the fall soccer season.
