Your Family's Commitment

While we recognize that each family may make different choices in terms of how they addressed the risk from the pandemic, in order to make an in-person experience possible, we have to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire TFS community.
We are not claiming to know the best medical practices nor are we making political statements, and we recognize that some of you may be less vulnerable or concerned. But we are requesting that every household take into account that we have high-risk populations in our midst and that if we have a number of cases in our population, it will impact our ability to continue with our in-person plans.
We would like a commitment from each family to:
  • Adhere to the safety protocols we put in place, like daily symptom and temperature screening.
  • Agree not to send your child to school if he/she is sick or exhibiting COVID-related symptoms.
  • Consider your activities outside of school carefully. Effectively, you take your classmates and teachers with you everywhere you go.
  • Limit indoor social interactions outside of school.
  • Wear face masks/shields in public when unable to socially distance.
  • Weigh the number of people you're exposing yourself to with the importance of the activity.
